You know when you've picked a good one!

Bruce and I had known each other for four years before we started dating. It took us only ten days to realize that we wanted to be married. Then, six weeks later, due to school vacations and holidays, we were married. I knew from the moment he sent me flowers on the first day of school in 2002, that he was the one!
Then came Sarah. When she was born, her first cry sounded like she said, "MAMA!" She is a mommy's girl, however, there are times when she only wants her dad. She wants to help him with the yard work, the garden -- anything that has to do with being outdoors. She loves to have fun with her dad.

When Bruce goes out of town, it's a bit tramatic sometimes for her. She can't fall asleep because she misses him so much. Inconsolable. Yes, she could be stalling and not want to go to bed -- or tired because she's gone to bed too late the night before. But, I believe she truly loves and misses her dad when he's gone. Even when he's only gone for an evening. There are kisses and hugs that are necessary before falling asleep -- and when he's not there to give them, it's sad for her. Even though it seems like she's a mommy's girl -- I think she's a daddy's girl at heart.
Yep, I chose a good one! A man who loves to spend time with his family. A man who loves and adores each of his children -- and they in turn love and adore him!
