Our Trip to the Lake

This weekend we headed up north to go fishing with Bruce's brother's family.

It was so much fun!

Sarah, Breanna & Rebecca showing off their fishing gear. Mr. So-Stinkin'-Cute loved every minute of fishing!
If only I could ever get Rebecca to look at the camera.

He sat on this rock most of the time "casting" his rod.

Cute bonding moments with Bruce getting the rods set.
He finally gave up on trying to keep the bait on the hooks.
Eventually the kids had no hook and he'd cast it out then they'd reel it in.

The highlights of the trip -- Brent caught the one and only fish in the area, the kids loved checking out the fish, and Hunter loved the worm -- even put it in his mouth for a mid-morning snack -- fortunately his mother is grossed out by that sort of thing and he took it out immediately.
It was a great trip!  Thanks Turleys -- we'll have to do it again!

Picnic at the Park

It was a beautiful evening out the other day so we decided to go on a picnic at the park.
It was loads of fun!  The kids played on the playground and chased the ducks by the lake.

Rebecca & Sarah enjoyed playing on the monkey "jars" as Rebecca called them.
Poor Bruce had to "hold" Rebecca's cookie -- I guess I could have offered, but I was taking the picture.

Breanna & Hunter's favorite thing was the slide.
Hunter loves the camera and willingly offers me a "cheese" whenever I ask.

A little bit of this and that!

What we've been up to for the past few weeks:
Playing in the mud

Baking bread in a sun oven.

Graduating from preschool!

Losing another front tooth.

The excitement of staying in a hotel for the first time.
Rebecca loved playing with the phone.
Hunter loved the remote -- of course!
He actually changed the channel to a baseball game and said,
"Ball!  Ball!"
then sat there and watched it.
Yep, he's Bruce's son.

Going to the Gila Valley Temple as a family.
Loved being in the Celestial Room altogether looking through mirrors -- TOGETHER!
That's what it's all about.
 Forever family!

Her first Mental Math Competition -- 3rd place for 5-6 yr. olds.

Last but not least -- our little girl turned 3 yrs. old! (Snif, snif)
