My Three Little Princesses

I love my little girls.

It's no secret.

As they are getting older they are becoming more and more fun.
Sarah:
I love how matter of fact she is about some things.
There's no foolin' that girl -- she's one smart cookie.

I love that she loves to read.

I love that she's such a great helper, and for the most part,
with little complaining.

I love her eyes -- big, green ones that want to see everything about this beautiful world.  She always sees the best in others and loves everyone immediately.

I love how sensitive she is, most of the time.  Could do without the drama some days, but then it's so sweet when she says,
"I was thinking of (a person) and it almost makes me cry because I miss them so much."

I love that she wants to spend "alone" time with me.
I know that won't last forever.
I love it because it reminds me how important it is to spend individual time with each child.

I love that she loves to learn  -- about anything and everything.  She's a little sponge and soaks it all in -- especially things about the gospel.  She loves the scriptures.
Breanna:

I love that she wants to be a princess when she grows up.
She always has an opinion about her hair and clothes.
Nowadays she only wears skirts or dresses -- ONLY.

I love that she's the quickest to clean up a mess.  I only have to mention that the vacuum is coming out and she works as fast as lightning to get the floors picked up.

I love that she talks so fast sometimes that you can't understand her and have to get her to repeat it -- slowly.

I love that she's a caregiver.
She always wants to make sure everyone is okay, especially Hunter.

She's a protector.  She's got your back.

I love that she loves everything pretty.  I can't count the numerous times I've heard the phrase:
"Oh, Mommy -- isn't that just lob-a-ly (lovely)?"

I love that she loves to play pretend. She is sooooo fun to watch and listen to.  She'll play pretend with anything.

Rebecca:

I love that she loves everything about life -- and ALL of it is a blast.

I love that she's my energizer bunny -- she literally keeps going and going and going.

I love that she adores and looks up to her older sisters.

I love that both Mommy & Daddy are her favorite.

I love that she loves everyone and they all immediately love her... it can't be helped.  She draws you in and it's just love.

I love that she is so funny.  If the TV show, "Kids Say the Darndest Things" was still on, she'd be a regular.

I love that she loves to snuggle.  If you're sitting on the couch, she will help herself up on to your lap, and try to get herself comfortable (this takes a little while sometimes).

My hope is that my little princesses and I will always be close and have loads of fun together.
I'm convinced that we did in the pre-existence!

Easter Weekend

For Easter, my sister and her family drove down for a little visit.
It was sooooooo much fun!
Here's a little glimpse into our weekend.
Dying Easter eggs!
After about 10 minutes, the girls were ready to move on to the next project.

Girls night out at Abuelo's.

Easter morning and the goods from the Easter bunny!

Getting chickens to fall asleep.  Catch them, put their head under their wing, lay them on the ground, hit the ground three times with your hand, VIOLA -- sleeping chickens! It's freaky!
