after a lot of scrubbing and some Woolite carpet cleaner with Oxyclean, baby food carrots MOSTLY... nope now looking at it again, it's not mostly... some of it came out of the carpet. ARRRRGH!!! You're probably wondering how did the baby food carrots get in the carpet in the first place. Then, a big smile crosses your face because you know exactly who did it. Yes, Rebecca.
I was feeding Hunter some carrots. (Since my last post, he's decided that baby food is pretty good. Either that or he watched me give bites to Rebecca and thought, "If I'm going to get any food around here later on in life, I'd better start acting like I enjoy this food.") Back to the story.... Rebecca decided that she wanted some too. Usually I give her a few bites here and there to appease her while I'm feeding Hunter. Yesterday was no different except she's got a runny nose. So, instead of using the same spoon and bowl, I got her a bowl and a spoon, then poured some of those yummy pureed carrots in her bowl.
She sat up to the table and started eating it. I gave her some more. Then, she got up, took her bowl and spoon with her, and started heading towards the family room. I called out her name, thinking that would stop her from getting closer to the family room. No, this became a game of chase and she started to run to the family room. I am envisioning carrots splattered all over the carpet. And that is exactly what happened. I caught up to her and grabbed her arm -- you know the one with the bowl and carrots almost spilling out. Carrots splattered all over the carpet and wall. I would have taken a picture of it, but then the carrots might stain the carpet. Why would I worry about that? IT IS STAINED!!!

Bummer. At least you tried to get it out. Now you can say you did your due diligence and you just need new carpet
I'm so sorry about your carpet but I had to laugh. That's what throw rugs are for! I can just see that mischevious little face as she's running away from you. She has the cutest smile!
