Santa came!

We had a wonderful Christmas! Sarah woke up about 7am. You see we don't need to set an alarm, go wake our children because it's a treat for us if they don't wake up until after 7am. I've heard that some parents like to go wake up their children on Christmas morning. Not us! Ours wake up early daily, so if they let us "sleep in" we consider it a blessing.

Okay, back to the story. So, Sarah was the first to wake up, then Hunter. We had to hold Sarah back until after Hunter was fed. She just couldn't wait and kept asking when Breanna was going to wake up. I tried to explain that it was Hunter who was holding her back because he needed to eat before we got caught up in the festivities. She went and woke up Breanna anyway.

Shortly, after Hunter was fed, we woke up Rebecca, got her changed and waited in our room until Daddy, lit the fire, turned on the tree and got the camera ready for the big surprise.

The picture above was taken the night of our ward Christmas party. Cute kids, bad lighting.

Santa brought Hunter an ASU football.

Sarah & Breanna got bikes. Sarah has been practicing on hers daily. Breanna wants nothing to do with her bike. She's afraid she'll fall off. We've got to practice with her a bit more.

Sarah also got a doctor's kit full of goodies to make sure everyone stays healthy and strong. If you or any animal you own is sick, Dr. Sarah has all the right tools to fix it -- including the nifty glasses and name tag that make her official. Who needs a diploma???

These last two pictures are just cute! Hunter has discovered his "piggies" as they are called in this house. He enjoys them most during bath time because that's about the only time he sees them these days with the cold weather. Most of the time they are covered with socks. During bath time he's free to enjoy them to his heart's content.

This picture of Rebecca is just stinkin' cute. She found this Santa hat amid our Christmas decorations and kept asking me to put it on her. I just had to get this picture. As stated in our Christmas letter -- her favorite things to do are suck her fingers and rub her belly button.
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and will have a wonderful New Year!!!

Looks like a fun Christmas! We have early-risers at our house too...isn't it nice when they let you sleep past 6:30 a.m.? :) It was so fun to see your family at the reception last night. We missed you guys! Hope all is well! How's Rebecca doing? Hopefully better!

Super cute. Looks like lots of fun at your house. Santa certainly stopped there.
Don't you wish you were as limber as Hunter?
