Last night was the annual gingerbread house making party! Since the girls and I made ornaments in the afternoon, this project was all Dad's. True father and daughters bonding moment! Look at those faces! Loving every minute of it!
Things are going pretty well. Then the dialogue begins to go like this:
Bruce: Should we put some lines on the roof?
Breanna: (crack, crack)
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
Sarah: Yea, let's put some lines on.
Bruce: Would you like straight lines, curvy lines? What?
Breanna: (crack, crack)
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
Sarah: I'd like just straight lines please.
Breanna: (crack, crack)
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
Sarah: This is way fun, Dad!
Bruce: Do you want the door here?
Sarah: Sure!
Breanna: (crack, crack)
Bruce: Breanna, stop eating the candy!
We were surprised that Breanna actually fell asleep last night due to all the candy she ate!

I remember vowing never to do that again last year. Thank goodness the ward party has it covered this year.
