I suggested we put the baby teething gel on it, then let me pull it out. She said she had to calm down, then she'd let me do it.
I told her that we could tie a string around it, then I'd pull it -- how all of my teeth were pulled. We tried the string, but it wouldn't stay on.
I told her to let me feel it again. However, she didn't know/realize that I was actually loosening it up enough for me to just pull out. I wiggled it, then pulled it out with Kleenex. She kept screaming, "OW, OW, OW!"
I said, "Sarah, it's out!"
She was shocked because she didn't even feel it. It was pretty funny!
It was fun because the next day at school her name was drawn to give the "news." She got to share with her class about losing her tooth!

two dollars! Our tooth fairy has been jipping us with only $1 all this time??!!
How brave of her and you - I hate pulling teeth.
Wow, your kids are getting big! I think you're brave too for pulling it out--I never let my parents do it:) Too much of a wimp.
2 bucks. Man, the tooth fairy is rich at your house. Our going rate is 50 cents and the kid usually has to remind the tooth fairy in the morning cuz she forgot before she went to bed.
Pretty exiciting, first tooth.
baby gel! What a great idea - haven't heard of that before, but we have lots left over - hopefully I'll remember when the time comes.
